INDIA (Agra), 24 Nov. The plain copper wire entering the Indian households shall soon unleash a ‘Genie’ toprovide “unlimited mazaa” to the telecom subscribers of the country.

He urged the existing subscribers of BSNL’s basic telephone services to bear with the company for somemore time after which, the plain old copper wire entering their households shall transform into a“Genie”, which shall change the way people use communication services forever.
He said that in terms of infrastructure for broadband services NIB-II would put India at par with more advanced nations. The services that would be supported includes always-on broadband access to the Internet for residential and business customers, Content based services, Video multicasting, Video-on-demand and Interactive gaming, Audio and Video conferencing, IP Telephony, Distance learning, Messaging: plain and feature rich, Multi-site MPLS VPNs with Quality of Service (QoS)guarantees. The subscribe will be able to access the above services through Subscriber Service SelectionSystem (SSSS) portal.
The General Manager agreed to the need for aggressive marketing of services being felt by the BSNL in comparison to private mobile service providers, but healso pointed out that the BSNL has a great liability to serve the rural subscribers of the country, which no other private operators are thinking about.
