Agra. With Hutchison Essar launching India's first prepaid ringtone & caller tune cards, even rural customers with limited knowledge of operating a mobile could select ringtones of their choice and download them without having access to the internet or going through the cumbersome IVRS process.

Talking to the Pioneer on the occasion of the launch of its prepaid "Fun Cards", Rohit Adya, Chief Operating Officer, UP (West), Hutchison Essar said that the "Fun Cards" were ordinary prepaid scratch cards that could be used by the subscriber to download the ringtones of his choice. The available ranges will vary from latest Bollywood hits to the "desi folk".

He informed these cards would be available all over India for an affordable cost of Rs. 20 - Rs. 45.
